Return to Sin City, the Gram Parsons tribute concert that was held earlier this summer on both coasts is set to make it's TV debut on Nov 15th at 8:00 pm cst.
The good news is that if you miss the 8:00 show, you'll be able to catch it at 9:30. And, if you miss that... it'll be shown like 20 times on the 16th.
The bad news is... you guessed it, it's on pay per view. For details go to iNdemand.com.
More bad news... iNdemand is only available through cable providers, not satellite. So, if you have DirecTv or Dish Network (like I do) you may be out of luck for a while. I'll keep you posted.
Nevertheless, I've heard it was a great show. Steve, Dwight, and Lucinda were there, along with Norah Jones, Keith Richards, John Doe and more. James Burton and Al Perkins also played as part of the "Sin City All-Stars Band."
As for Gram today...
It looks like he's still winning fans. Check out this article by Drew Lyons for the Minnesota State University Reporter.
There's hope, yet.
Thanks for the mention on the show. I did the shows with the Sin City All-Stars and it was a great couple of nights. And yeah, Sats don't get it apparently, but.. the DVD will be coming in March and will have a lot more footage too.
Check out our crazy cover of Sin City, if you like at my site...
